Netflix’s gothic sensation Wednesday has quickly cemented itself as one of the streamer’s biggest hits, winning audiences over with its mix of mystery, dark comedy, and Addams Family nostalgia. With Season 2 Part 2 arriving soon, fans are already buzzing about the next installment Wednesday Season 3 which has officially been confirmed and is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated returns.
When Could Season 3 Arrive?

This projection comes from Netflix’s usual one-year production cycle. With Season 2 rolling out in two parts Part 1 on August 6, 2025 and Part 2 on September 3, 2025 production for the third season will likely get underway soon after. That timeline makes late 2027 the most realistic window.
It’s worth remembering that Season 1 dropped back in November 2022, while Season 2 faced nearly a three-year delay due to scheduling and production hurdles. With Season 3 already greenlit, though, the turnaround should be much smoother this time.
What’s Next for Wednesday Addams?
Netflix confirmed Season 3 ahead of Part 2’s debut, setting expectations high. Co-creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar explained that their vision is to expand the Addams Family universe while keeping the focus on Wednesday Addams.
